Goals for my Sports

I am currently participating in two sports: Field Hockey an Tae Kwon Do.

The goal I have set for myself in Tae Kwon Do is to earn my Blue Belt. Right now, I attend
Woo Kim Surrey Tae Kwon Do on Sundays for two hours. I also practice during the week with my brother.

My Field Hockey goal (which is a funny thing to say since I'm a goalie), is to make Team BC this year. In order to do this, I need to reach a 8.0 on the Canadian Beep test. I have improved my skills and fitness since last tryouts and think I have a good chance of making the team this year. Right now, I have practice two days a week and games three days a week.

Tough Mudder

On Tuesday, October 15, the gym block did the Tough Mudder for the first time. We made groups and completed tasks. My group members were Simar, Prabhneet, and Gagan. We worked really well together and pushed each other to the limit. At the end, we were proud of how we did as a team. My favorite part was the leap frog because it was kind of...um...fun (you could say).

Weight Room Goals

One goal I have for myself is to become more flexible for Tae Kwon Do and Field Hockey.

Being a Field Hockey goalie requires a lot of flexibility so you can reach farther to stop a goal from happening. In Tae Kwon Do, flexibility is key. You need to be able to kick fast and strong. When doing kicks, such as the Axe Kick, you need to be able to kick higher than your opponents head.

Here is a YouTube video that will help me achieve my goal of becoming more flexible:
